Being financially fit can lead to good things

Would you consider yourself “financially fit”? If we don’t have a strong sense of financial security, it is likely to weigh heavily on our minds — affecting our mental well-being — which may also prohibit us from taking steps to practice physical wellness activities, such as purchasing quality foods or seeking necessary medical support.

When your finances are in order, stress decreases and your ability to serve increases. Concordia Plan Services offers tools to boost your financial fitness — wherever you are on your journey.

These benefits include:

  • Pension – The Concordia Retirement Plan pension is paid for by your employer and provides you with a monthly pension benefit to provide much-needed monthly income in retirement and can be passed on to your surviving spouse. (NOTE: Employer must be participating, and you must meet required years of service.)
  • Retirement savings (403b) – The Concordia Retirement Savings Plan 403(b) provides an excellent fund line-up, a low-fee structure and professional assistance to determine how to invest your money. If offered by your employer, it’s easy to set up payroll deductions.
  • Personal finance – Concordia Plan Services offers support with understanding budgeting basics — from saving for the future, preparing for emergencies and everything in between.
  • Preparing for retirement – We’re here to support you through the retirement process.
  • Tax resources – LCMS tax support is available to help with your questions, especially related to Rostered Workers.
  • Financial Educators – Concordia Plan Services Financial Educators are available to talk through your finances and financial benefits available to you. You can contact the Education Team by clicking here or email [email protected].
