Service isn’t a program here. It’s our culture.
“Serve the Lord with gladness!” — Psalm 100:2
At Concordia Plan Services, service isn't just what we do — it's who we are. Our interns don't sit on the sidelines. From day one, they roll up their sleeves and join our team in giving back to the communities we serve — because living out our faith is core to the work itself.
What our interns are saying
Concordia Plan Services and the LCMS Foundation partner to give their interns a well-rounded experience — combining professional development and training with social and community service opportunities.

Concordia Plan ServicesWorking at Concordia Plan Services was a true blessing. I discovered how much I love actively serving others, and it was incredible to see the impact I could make in just one summer. Beyond the work itself, I loved the people — the culture was kind, supportive and encouraging. I'm excited to carry that same spirit into whatever God calls me to next.

LCMS FoundationThis has truly been an amazing summer, and I am incredibly grateful to have had this opportunity to learn from such an intelligent and welcoming team. I was able to gain hands-on legal experience while engaging in an environment that fostered asking questions and getting help when needed. I am so grateful to everyone, especially Stacey Hall and the rest of the Foundation's legal team, for this internship, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone considering applying.

LCMS FoundationMy time at the Foundation has been incredible — it's helped me grow not just professionally, but personally as well. I've learned that you don't have to compromise time with Jesus to succeed in business, and that there are so many ways to grow the church. From day one, the Foundation and all of LCMS have welcomed me and the other interns with open arms, making this experience better than I ever could have hoped for.
