Jim Arand
Serving the Michigan District.
Jim Arand is an Account Manager with Concordia Plan Services, serving ministries in Michigan. He previously worked for Lutheran Hour Ministries, where he served in a creative and operational leadership capacity, supporting the ongoing development of The Lutheran Hour® radio program. Jim has also served as a regional sales manager in healthcare services, overseeing sales operations across multiple territories.
He has a Bachelor of Arts in Allied Health with a business emphasis and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University. Jim has also earned a Project Management Certification from the University of Kansas.
Jim is a lifelong member of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. He and his wife Michelle attend St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Des Peres, Missouri. They have two adult children and a very active Australian Shepherd. He enjoys live music, golf, hockey and walking his dog.

Miriam Herrera
Serving LCMS ministries with four or fewer full-time workers.
Miriam Herrera has a unique role with the Ministry Engagement Team. As an Account Representative, she works with LCMS ministries across the country with four or fewer full-time workers enrolled in Concordia Plan Services.
Miriam joined the team more than 10 years ago. You may recognize her friendly voice, as she spent nine years helping members as part of Customer Care before being promoted to her current role helping ministries.
Miriam and her husband have been blessed with three children. When she has free time, she taps into her artistic side, by drawing and crafting.
