Jim Pitrak

Jim Pitrak is an Account Manager with Concordia Plan Services, serving ministries in the Northern Illinois, Central Illinois and Southern Illinois Districts. He joined the Ministry Engagement Team in 2025, bringing with him strong experience in sales and account development, where he supported individuals, businesses and federal government agencies. Jim has a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Marketing from Eastern Illinois University.

He and his wife Kelly have 3 children: Sophia, Elijah and Declan. Their family attends Abiding Savior, where he serves as a High School Bible Study Leader and assists with the Youth Committee. Jim previously volunteered as DCE Call Chairman, Elder, Director of Stewardship and Usher. In his spare time, Jim enjoys F3 fitness, playing board games and spending time with his kids.

 Jim's favorite Bible verse is: “And as for you my brothers and sisters, never tire of doing what is good.” 2 Thessalonians 3:13

Miriam Herrera

Serving LCMS ministries with four or fewer full-time workers.

Miriam Herrera has a unique role with the Ministry Engagement Team. As an Account Representative, she works with LCMS ministries across the country with four or fewer full-time workers enrolled in Concordia Plan Services.
 
Miriam joined the team more than 10 years ago. You may recognize her friendly voice, as she spent nine years helping members as part of Customer Care before being promoted to her current role helping ministries.
 
Miriam and her husband have been blessed with three children. When she has free time, she taps into her artistic side, by drawing and crafting.
