Ready to Retire?
Retirement is a big step – we can help
You've made the decision to retire. It's a big step. We understand you may have a lot of emotions right now - from excitement to anxiety – and we are here to help you through the process.
First, let us say thank you for all years of service in His name. And now to help you through these next steps, we’ve created this Retirement Timeline to take you through the retirement process along with a helpful Retirement Checklist.
No matter where you are in the retirement journey, our Financial Wellness Educators are a resource for you! They can help you project your retirement income and personally walk you through the steps you need to take toward retirement. Contact MoneyMatters@ConcordiaPlans.org to talk to an educator.
If you are saving in the Concordia Retirement Savings Plan 403(b), you may tempted to begin taking money from your account as soon as you retire, but there are many advantages to keeping your money in the CRSP. Learn more.
Let’s get started. There are two ways to begin the retirement process, and we recommend you start at least 90 days before the date you want to retire.
One of the benefits of working for a ministry with our retirement plans is that your Concordia retirement benefits will help provide you with the income you'll need for your daily expenses in retirement. There are many resources available to help you understand your personal situation, what options are available to you and how to use your benefits.

The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
