Discover how personal spending accounts (PSA) can enhance your ministry’s benefits strategy by joining the “Understanding Personal Spending Accounts” webinar. We’ll be joined by a HealthEquity expert who will explain the three types of PSAs, how they support worker well-being and what to consider when offering the PSAs.
It’s a good idea for your workers to budget and save for major as well as everyday health care and/or dependent care costs. And a personal spending account (PSA) makes it easy to do!
HealthEquity administers three kinds of PSAs:
Health savings account (HSA): A medical savings account that can be paired with compatible health plan options to help pay for out-of-pocket eligible expenses.
Flexible spending account (FSA): An account that can be used toward qualified medical or dependent care expenses depending on the type of FSA.
Health reimbursement arrangement (HRA): An account funded by the employer to help workers pay for certain out-of-pocket medical, dental and vision expenses.
HealthEquity provides an online member site and mobile app so it’s easy for your workers to manage their accounts, track expenses and access funds. They also offer 24/7 customer support, including educational resources.
Did you know your CHP enrolled workers can earn Vitality points for completing financial wellness activities?
Copy and paste the chart below and share it with your workers, encouraging them to get on track financially and earn up to 1,100 points!
All workers enrolled in the Concordia Retirement Plan (CRP) pension can schedule a free, confidential session with a Concordia Plans Financial Educator to discuss financial wellness or learn about retirement planning. Workers can contact [email protected] to connect with a Financial Educator.
‘Water (H2O) for Your Soul’ Challenge
Challenge Dates: July 27–Aug. 25 Goal: Drink at least 64 ounces of water each day. That’s nearly one ounce for every book in the Bible!
Encourage your workers enrolled in the Concordia Health Plan to stay healthy and hydrated this summer while earning 100 Vitality Points! Proper hydration can help:
Limit migraine triggers and lessen severity and/or length of headaches
Support mental focus, cognition, sleep quality and mood
Provide good energy levels and physical performance
When your workers are well, they can serve well.
Here’s how the Challenge works:
Workers enrolled in Vitality will use this tracker. It’s also available in the Vitality Points Planner under the "Wellness Challenge" tile.
Starting July 27 through Aug. 26, they’ll track each day they drink at least 64 ounces of water.
Once they’ve reached their water intake goal for at least 20 days, they’ll submit their tracker to Vitality via the "H2O for Your Soul" tile within the "Wellness Challenges" category through their Points Planner (only one submission accepted).
They must submit the document as proof no later than Sept. 1.
