A combination of lower claims in 2016, sound investment stewardship and management of vendor partnerships has made funds available that we will share back with the ministries of the Concordia Health Plan. These are ministry dollars that you can reinvest in your church or school.
More than 50 years ago the ministries of the LCMS agreed that it was important to take care of the well-being of those who serve in the Synod, and in doing so, created what today is known as Concordia Plan Services. The CHP is uniquely positioned as it aligns with the theology of the LCMS and does not remove disadvantaged employers or members from coverage. Our Plan is strong in its offerings and protection, compared to marketplace offerings, because like you, we are committed to the overall health and wellness of workers in our LCMS community.
