July—Benefits Bulletin to employers
with more detailed information about The Church’s
Plan and other package options and the election process.
ENROLL EARLY to ensure your workers can participate in the
new Concordia Retirement Savings Plan on January 1, 2006.
- Late
August—Benefits Bulletin to workers
and retirees with information on The Church’s Plan
and changes for 2006.
- September—Election
of Concordia Health Plan options takes place, as scheduled.
(Election deadline is October 7.)
- October—To
ensure your workers can participate in the new Concordia
Retirement Savings Plan and earn Retiree Medical Supplement
credits starting January 1, 2006, enroll in The Church’s
Plan by October 7.

- All
Year—Employers have the opportunity
to evaluate and decide to join The Church’s Plan for
their workers.
- January—The
new Concordia Retirement Savings Plan—with an employer
match—and the Retiree Medical Supplement take effect
January 1 for those enrolled in The Church’s Plan
by October 7, 2005.
- January—Current
retirees begin to receive the Retiree Medical Supplement
if they meet eligibility requirements.
