The Church’s Plan provides a package of benefits designed
specifically to meet the needs of LCMS workers. The Church’s
Plan is a comprehensive benefits package made up of: |

Health Plan
- Medical
plan coverage at various option levels, as currently provided
and looking to add other coverage options in the future
- Mental
health and substance abuse coverage
- Prescription
drug coverage
- Dental
coverage

Disability and Survivor Plan
- Protection
in the case of disability due to illness or injury
- Protection
for survivors in the event of death

Retirement Plan
- Primary
pension benefit, as currently offered
- Supplemental
Retirement Account, as now provided

Medical Supplement (NEW)

Additional benefit, based on years of service, to assist
with post-retirement medical expenses

- Workers
enroll and save; employers match a portion of worker savings
- This
is a 403(b) Tax Deferred Savings Plan for nonprofits—similar
to a 401(k) plan.
