How to Enroll in the Concordia Retirement Savings Plan

 

Important Notice Regarding Online Enrollment into the Concordia Retirement Savings Plan through MetLife — Please read before you continue your enrollment.

 

This is to assist you in completing your enrollment, as the PIN letter mailed to members by MetLife does not fully outline the necessary steps. To complete your online enrollment into the CRSP, please complete the steps listed below after you log into the MetLife Web site with your Social Security number and PIN.

Click on “Retirement Savings Link,” then enter your Social Security number and PIN.

 

Update your beneficiary election. To complete this step, click on the ‘Beneficiary Update’ link under the Change Personal Account Information menu located on the left side of the web page. Please have the beneficiaries’ date of birth and social security number available to complete your beneficiary designation.
 
Select the investment of future contributions. Concordia Plan Services has automatically selected the ProManage PROgram for future contributions. If you wish to remain in the ProManage PROgram, no further action is needed. Your contributions will be allocated according to the allocation made by ProManage based on your personal demographics (the allocation illustrated under your account at this time will change once you elect to continue to allow ProManage to select your investment options for you). If you wish to opt out of the ProManage PROgram, click on the ‘Opt Out of ProManage Enrollment’ link under the ProManage Managed Accounts menu located on the left side of the web page. Follow the instructions to opt out of the ProManage PROgram and make your own allocation elections. Please review the prospectuses online before making your fund selections.
 
Personalize your Personal Identification Number (PIN). You may also personalize your Personal Identification Number (PIN) under the Change Personal Account Information menu or elect to receive statements electronically by consenting under the Electronic File Cabinet menu.
 

You will receive an enrollment packet from MetLife via UPS or FedEx with informational materials and prospectuses. Once you receive the packet, please complete the Salary Deferral Agreement and turn it into your local payroll or congregational treasurer (do not send it to Concordia Plan Services). The Salary Deferral Agreement is located in the back of the enrollment booklet. Or, you can click on the link above to access the form online. Your contributions will then be withheld by your employer and submitted to MetLife for deposit into your account.
