The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is designed to help members and their dependents cope with stress, depression, marital difficulties, and a variety of other work, family, and life issues. The EAP includes:
- Up to 6 free face-to-face sessions
- Immediate assistance for critical emotional needs
- Information and referral for child care, elder care, adoption, and more
- Guidance for finding local resources
- Telephonic consultation
Concordia Health Plan (CHP) members as well as employers who offer the CHP have access to EAP telephone and wellness seminars. For a listing of 2010 EAP Telephone Seminars and directions on how to register, click here.
For an additional cost, employer benefits representatives can offer wellness seminars and/or management trainings for their employees. The International Employee Assistance Program (IEAP) is designed to help members and their families working and living abroad cope with stress, depression, marital difficulties, and a variety of other work, family, and life issues. The IEAP includes:
- Telephonic consultation available to all Missionaries and their families enrolled in the Concordia Health Plan (CHP), as well as other CHP members and their families residing outside of the United States or Canada
- Up to 5 free face-to-face sessions for those members and their families working and living in the following countries: Botswana, China, Czech Republic, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Namibia, Peru, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, and Venezuela
- Guidance for finding local resources
