Concordia Plan Services Benefit Consultants are partners to our employers. Our Benefit Consultants are assigned to LCMS districts and work with Business Administrators and employers within the districts.

These individuals help The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod organizations take wise and sensible steps towards sound benefit decisions. The Benefit Consultants help in the understanding of Concordia Plan Services health, disability, survivor, and retirement programs, suggest cost effective solutions, and assist in the decision-making process. Through this structure, church workers should have peace of mind and confidence in the benefits their employer provides through Concordia Plan Services, so they can concentrate on God’s plan to which they were called. In addition we also have Employer Relations Specialist to answer your benefit questions via the phone or e-mail. All contact information follows.

Benefit Consultants:
 Eustolio Gomez, Director of Employer Services, 314-885-6712

Eustolio manages the Benefit Consultants, Employer Relations Specialists, Retirement and Benefit Educator, and is also responsible for the development of comprehensive, nationwide retirement, financial, benefit, and health education programs for current and future church workers.

He has worked in the financial planning field since 1985, serving five years as president of the financial planning firm that he established in 1994. He joined Concordia Plan Services in 2000.

Eustolio and his wife, Karen, have three children. Their son is a pastor in Glencoe, Minnesota. Their older daughter is a librarian who lives in St. Paul, Minnesota and their younger daughter is a Director of Parish Music in St. Louis, Missouri.

 Keith Duesenberg, 314-885-6714

Keith joined the staff of Concordia Plan Services (then Worker Benefit Plans) in 2002, where he has held several positions – Benefit Processor and Financial Education Specialist. Keith has been a Benefit Consultant since 2006. He is also responsible for conducting financial education workshops.

Keith received his bachelor's degree in Finance from Valparaiso University.

Keith and his wife, Carrie, have two children and are members of Concordia Lutheran Church in Kirkwood, Mo.

Louis Johnson, 314-885-6728

Louis joined Concordia Plan Services in the fall of 2011. Louis has been working in the financial services industry for over 11 years as fee-based planner with Prudential Financial, U.S. Bank Private Client Group/Personal Trust, and U.S. Bancorp Investments, Inc., in Minneapolis/Saint Paul, Minn. Prior to that Louis worked for over 10 years in retail in the “Twin Cities” as Senior Inventory Analyst with both Target and Best Buy.

Louis received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Marketing in 1986 from Concordia College, Saint Paul (now Concordia University).

Louis and his wife, Jennifer, and their son are members of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Eureka, MO.

Brad Peterson, 314-885-6727

Concordia Plan Services welcomed Brad to its Benefit Consultants team in June 2010. Brad has an extensive background in personal financial planning having worked with MetLife and Thrivent since 1983. He has achieved membership in the Million Dollar Round Table, a professional trade association that helps life insurance and financial services professionals establish best business practices and develop ethical and effective ways to increase client interest in financial products, specifically life insurance, disability, and long-term care. Brad’s professional designations include CLU, ChFC, FIC, and LUTCF.

Brad and his wife, Nancy, have two adult children, four grandchildren, and are members of Timothy Lutheran in Blue Springs, Missouri.
 Maureen Schneider, 314-885-6721

Maureen began serving Concordia Plan Services in September 2007. She has over 42 years of experience in employee benefits including health plans, retirement, disability, savings, and life insurance. As a former life insurance broker, she continues to maintain the requirements for Missouri and Illinois Life and Health Licensing.

Maureen has served in all facets of this industry — corporate administration, sales support, healthcare administration and providers, as well as at a brokerage firm.

A graduate of the University of Missouri, she and her husband, Tom, have two adult sons and three grandsons. Maureen and Tom reside in Webster Groves, Missouri.

Paul Snyder, 314-885-6716

Paul joined Concordia Plan Services (then Worker Benefit Plans) in November 1982. Over the years he has worked in data entry, processing retirement payments, and supervising the benefit payment team. Paul serves Concordia Plan Services as the Retirement and Benefit Educator, primarily conducting pre-retirement workshops throughout the districts, as well as workshops on basic financial education. In addition, he works with the seminaries and many of the universities to present basic financial awareness and benefit awareness sectionals to graduating students entering church work.

Paul, a life-long Lutheran, is a 1981 graduate of Concordia—River Forest (Chicago). He is a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Olivette, Missouri, where he is the Director of Worship, Choir Director, and Handbell Director. He also serves as a lay member of the Missouri District Board of Directors.

Employer Relations Specialists:
 Diane Mottert, 314-885-6807

Diane Mottert joined Concordia Plan Services in 1986, where she has held several positions including Membership Specialist, Team Leader, and Administrative Assistant. Since 2004, Diane has been helping employers navigate their Concordia Plans’ benefits as an Employer Relations Specialist. She is experienced in answering employer and worker questions pertaining to Plan Provisions, CHP Options, Personal Spending Accounts, forms, deadlines, and procedures, as well as assisting employers through various processes and paperwork.

Diane is currently participating in the 2014 Matura Leadership Program, which is specifically designed for employees of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.

Diane has been married for 26 years and in her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with her family, and boating at the lake.

Jason Williams, 314-885-6806

Jason has been assisting Concordia Plan Services members and employers since June 2005. He is currently serving in the capacity of Employer Relations Specialist. This position allows Jason to interact with employers on a daily basis, helping them with choices and decisions. 

Jason is a graduate of the 2013 Matura Leadership Program. This program is a year-long leadership enrichment plan that was designed specifically for employees of The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod International Center. Jason is currently working toward a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) professional designation.

He is married and has two children.

Erica Villmer, 314-885-6817

Erica Villmer joined Concordia Plan Services in 2008, and has held the positions of Enrollment Eligibility Representative and Quality Assurance Specialist. She is knowledgeable in employer obligations, plan provision, forms and is accustomed with working one on one with employers and members.

Just recently she joined the Employer Relations team where her experience will allow her to continue to build and nurture strong employer and member relationships.

She and her husband, Dan, have been married for 8 years and have three children.
